This forum segment from [http://neoarkcradle.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=112&start=960 NeoArkCradle] is a translation of a text published in V-Jump magazine, and its regards III as a male. In addition, his VA [[wikipedia:Kyōsuke Ikeda|Kyōsuke Ikeda]] is male too. :Although I'm guessing III's male too, I should point out that Japanese uses pronouns less frequently than English. Sometimes when translating Japanese to English, it's necessary to add pronouns for the sentence to be grammatically correct. So "he" and "his" might have only been added by the translator on that forum, while the original text referenced no gender. I am quiet sure he is male since he uses the pronoun Boku when talking about himself. Also Yuma said in the preview for Ep 33 that III is IV ototou which is the japanese word for younger brother. III is a male, because he is seen Naked in episode 49, and he has a flat chest. he is also seen naked in episode 50. so it is pretty clear that he is a male.

in episode 60, in the ending "wild child". the scene where they are in school, at about 0:53. III can be seen in the background, behind Kotori. wearing Yuma's school uniform. does that mean III will be going to school?

==Dub Name?==

Has it been stated somewhere that his dub name is Tres, or is everyone just going off of IV's name being Quatro? Because if its the latter, it is definitely wrong, because Quatro isn't spanish but Italian and is being mistaken for their word for four, cuatro. If all three of the Arclight brothers will have similar dub names, that III's should instaed be Tre, the itallian word for three.

Fine. But still, have these names actually be confirmed anywhere? Becuase it seems like everyone is just jumping the gun. For all we know, they could go with number names from multiple different languages.

Maybe not: They may have been using the same language all along because of the way they pronounce

I probably would have made the same mistake myself. In English, trey is used to mean 3 in playing cards or a score of three in dice, card or domino games. I believe that was the entire point of giving them those names. To a Japanese viewer, it would clearly mark them as characters who are not from Japan.
