Each member of the team is represented by a different mask. When they first appeared before [[Team ZEXAL]], they appear only as flying masks, until one of them transforms into [[Dark Mask of Laughter]] to start the [[Duel]]. They also seem to like horror elements.

Team lswarm enters the [[Team Duel Tournament]] and face [[Team ZEXAL]] in the [[Heartland Theme Park]] Horror Tower. They being the match with [[Dark Mask of Laughter]] vs. [[Yuma Tsukumo (D Team)|Yuma]]. After a tough battle, Yuma defeats Laughter.

[[Crying Mask]] and [[Angry Mask]] used tricks to decieve their opponents, [[Takashi Todoroki (D Team)|Takashi]] and [[Tetsuo Takeda (D Team)|Tetsuo]], being able to reduce their [[Life Points]] to under 1000 as they were distracted. However, when [[Tokunosuke Omoteura (D Team)|Tokunosuke]] reveals their tricks, they are defeated by Takashi and Tetsuo.
