Each time you post something to a talk page, always sign your posts with four tildes at the end of it, so people know who made that comment. There's even a reminder to tell you to do that above the text box.ChaosGallade (talk • contribs) 20:24, October 27, 2015 (UTC)

Also, since you upload lots of pics, maybe this might be useful for you. You just need to use that instead of the OCG-TCG card image and that will get the OCG-TCG card image filled automatically, you just have to fill the name. :Just to remind you that there is a standard formatting for the set card galleries. It would be great if you could create them accoring to it. Thanks.

:On the Duelist League case, you have that extra sub-header. But you could make the header correctly nonetheless. Just follow [ this example]. You can check the language indexes (pt, es, ja, etc.) at ISO 639 (by clicking on view source). <span class="nowrap">Becasita <small>Pendulum</small></span> <span class="nowrap">(talk • contribs)</span> 11:30, May 26, 2016 (UTC)

::Still under this topic: When creating the galleries, be sure to check if there aren't any images named incorrectly. Like this one, for instance. I have taken care of that one, though. Check for pics lacking a dash (<code>-</code>) between their name and the set abbreviation. <span class="nowrap">Becasita <small>Pendulum</small></span> <span class="nowrap">(talk • contribs)</span> 21:17, June 18, 2016 (UTC)

:::Wait, are you suggesting I should check whether each card image from a set I am working on has a wrong name even though the gallery I am editing doesn't link to them? With all due respect, I don't have time to go through every one of them. I would rather use that time for more productive things, like uploading a better image with the proper name and extension. If I notice bad image links I correct them at once, but in cases like this there was no error in the link and the exact image you mentioned wasn't included in the gallery. I have very limited free time to scan and upload images, let alone do extra work that is in no way a priority. Fensterhoff (talk • contribs) 22:00, June 18, 2016 (UTC)

::::Not really. But it was just to alert you. You seem to have been checking if there are pics in JPG. Just that.

::::Besides, if you want to check if an image of a card already exists, just go to Special:PrefixIndex, select "File" at the "namespace" menu and type the beginning of the name of the card you want to check if there already is an image. Since you usually create the galleries to check for the pics (right?), I guess this could spare you some time. <span class="nowrap">Becasita <small>Pendulum</small></span> <span class="nowrap">(talk • contribs)</span> 22:22, June 18, 2016 (UTC)

::::: Thanks, that was the function that I was looking for all along. I found a solution to the .jpg to .png extension conversion problem. There is no need spend extra time to open each picture with Paint as you mentioned earlier. There is a freeware program called IrfanView that does batch conversion between different image file formats and much more. This may help you a lot since you are frequently updating card images.

:::::By the way, how did you create galleries so fast? It takes me too much time to do it compared to you. Also how do you tell which layout to use for a new gallery when the other foreign language ones are different from each other? An example would be the gallery you recently corrected - Set_Card_Galleries:Duelist_Pack_Collection_Tin_2010_(TCG-IT-LE) Fensterhoff (talk • contribs) 14:07, October 27, 2016 (UTC)

::::::I've assembled some tools to help me build/update set galleries/lists, if one already exists. In that particular case, I grabbed the French one and just changed it to the Italian one.

::::::The current layout skeleton can be found here. An example of it being used is the gallery you pointed above. Note that it may not look like the same thing, but when you publish that skeleton, it will transform itself.

::::::So, with both those sets of tools, what I do is: grab the entries of the files for an already existing gallery and paste it to a text editor; then, place the skeleton onto the page (you have to remove possible unnecessary parts); then, on the text editor, open the "find and replace" board (you should have this function on a text editor); I replace all the instances of the region index with the correct one (in the particular case above: <code>-FR</code> to <code>-IT</code>); then I add the correct Card name instance (to do this, go to the tools I use and you'll see one of the tables with what you need to find and what you need to replace (enable "regex"/"regular expressions"); finally, I copy that content to the correct place inside of the skeleton I previously placed on the page.

::::::I think this may sound a bit complicated, perhaps, but allows anyone to build set galleries/lists in a matter of seconds; you just need to get used to it. If you have questions, feel free to ask. <span class="nowrap">Becasita <small>Pendulum</small></span> <span class="nowrap">(talk • contribs)</span> 14:07, October 27, 2016 (UTC)

::::::Just noticed now you added info regarding JPG to PNG conversion. Thanks, I'll give a look to that. <span class="nowrap">Becasita <small>Pendulum</small></span> <span class="nowrap">(talk • contribs)</span> 14:09, October 27, 2016 (UTC)

:::::::If the headers in the Card Galleries use region indexes then why doesn't the Card_Gallery:Invader_of_Darkness show the Spanish name, but displays the English one instead? Fensterhoff (talk • contribs) 14:35, December 6, 2016 (UTC)

::::::::It's fixed now. The problem was on the template itself. It had a way to check if the name for a specific language exists. The problem is, the Spanish name for "Invader of Darkness" was in the way (it's a very particular case, coincidentally), triggering the check, making the template think there was no Spanish name.

::::::::Besides, using <code>es</code> had the same result. <span class="nowrap">Becasita <sup><small>Pendulum</small></sup></span> <span class="nowrap">(talk • contribs)</span> 15:32, December 6, 2016 (UTC)

Moving pages
When moving pages, please don't leave a redirect behind. Only in some few cases you should move a page over a redirect (e.g., moving mainspace articles). Pages on the "Set Card Galleries", "Set Card Lists", "Card Trivia", "Card Tips", etc. usually don't need to be moved over a redirect. <span class="nowrap">Becasita <small>Pendulum</small></span> <span class="nowrap">(talk • contribs)</span> 09:53, May 5, 2016 (UTC)

:Why not? Not leaving redirects is what lead to the SET Galleries pages to have a lot of red links. Now I'm editing the "TCG Set Galleries: Promos" to fix some of them. If the person who moved those pages left a redirect I wouldn't have to do that. Fensterhoff (talk • contribs) 10:20, May 5, 2016 (UTC)

::No. If someone moves a page that is from a namespace where a redirect shouldn't be left (in general), that person should change all the instances of it to the correct name (you can check them at Special:Whatlinkshere). So, if you move a page, please change all the instances of it to the correct name. And this is not a "do it if you want"; it's how things are done here, so please try to follow these guidelines. Thanks. <span class="nowrap">Becasita <small>Pendulum</small></span> <span class="nowrap">(talk • contribs)</span> 10:31, May 5, 2016 (UTC)

:::Apparently when SnorlaxMonster moved all those paged two years ago he didn't do what you just mentioned. So since there is no guide for moving pages I thought that was the way to do it (except for the part of not leaving a redirect) instead of editing each page linked to them because it saves a lot of time. Plus where does it say in the guidelines that I should not leave a redirect?

:::Also I just noticed you did the changes that you asked me to do. If you're going to do it yourself, why ask me? Thanks Fensterhoff (talk • contribs) 19:48, May 9, 2016 (UTC)

::::I can't remember what changes were those. But generically, I won't do them. I did them that time because I don't like to leave stuff incomplete and because it was probably something that could be solved quickly.

::::Now you already know what you should do, so I'm counting on you to do them next time. <span class="nowrap">Becasita <small>Pendulum</small></span> <span class="nowrap">(talk • contribs)</span> 20:09, May 9, 2016 (UTC)

::::Oh, I only noticed now you changed your message since the last time. So, replying to: "Plus where does it say in the guidelines that I should not leave a redirect?".

::::There isn't a "Mover Manual", as far as I know. There's Yu-Gi-Oh!:Mover, but I think that is all and it doesn't solve this matter. But if you want, we can call an admin to moderate this. <span class="nowrap">Becasita <small>Pendulum</small></span> <span class="nowrap">(talk • contribs)</span> 20:13, May 9, 2016 (UTC)

:::::I do not oppose to your suggestion so calling an admin will not solve anything. I was just interested where can I see all these unwritten rules of editing. By the way please don't forget to redirect two links (Dimension of Chaos: Special Edition and Clash of Rebellions: Special Edition) to the new pages you moved them to from TCG Set Galleries: Promos Fensterhoff (talk • contribs) 09:26, May 25, 2016 (UTC)

::::::I didn't make a change there, because what that page needs is a big revamp. Those pages are obsolete (they even use <code>&lt;big></code>), they need some major design update, hence why I overlooked it. But you are right, I should have updated the links nonetheless. Thanks for reminding me. <span class="nowrap">Becasita <small>Pendulum</small></span> <span class="nowrap">(talk • contribs)</span> 09:42, May 25, 2016 (UTC)

Nosy user offers you a list.
Hello there. I don't know you and you don't know me. But it appears we share a common interest: a hunger for targeting and uploading card images which aren't on the wiki.

As I was reading random user talks (it's an habit of mine, sue me), I read you were interested in finding out which foreign language TCG cards are missing. If you still are, I could share with you a list of every Spanish card which has yet to be chronicled on the interwebs in one way or another. It's not "The Comprehensive List of Every Missing Spanish Card (tm)" and might not be completely up to date, but I compiled it in hopes of providing the Spanish wiki -in which I am part of its staff- with at least one example of every Spanish release. It took me more than a year to track every item, so I guess I don't want it to go to waste, heh. The only catch is that every card is listed under its Spanish name, but each card is listed alongside every set in which it has been printed on so far.

If you're interested, give me a shout and I'll post the list somewhere.

--AzureKesil (talk • contribs) 10:05, May 26, 2016 (UTC)

:Actually that would be very helpful. I have to spend a lot of time to check and even create galleries just to see which cards are missing. Time which I could spend scanning and uploading cards instead. I don't care how the list is compiled. All I need to know is if this list includes missing cards only on the English Wikia or the Spanish Wikia as well (since I noticed the latter has more Spanish card images available). Or by "interwebs" did you mean cards not available not only on Wikias but the whole internet? Fensterhoff (talk • contribs) 10:31, May 26, 2016 (UTC)

Okay then! Here it goes. As far as I know,  cards on the Spanish wiki might or might not be ones that this one currently show due to several reasons (staff having no time to keep Spanish wiki articles up to date, yours truly uploading newer sets on this wiki because the older ones on the Spanish wiki feature better images or no errata that urged users to replace images...). Answering your question, the "interwebs" issue refered to how Spanish cards are often hard to track and find. --AzureKesil (talk • contribs) 10:56, May 28, 2016 (UTC)

:Thanks for the list! It gave me a good idea on what sets I should focus. Some of the cards are cheap so I will get them together with my other purchases to save on shipping. ==FET UE galleries==

Hi Fensterhoff. Sorry to jump into your work, but there was something I wanted to test and this seemed a nice opportunity. There shouldn't be FET FR, IT, PT and SP cards with Unlimited Edition galleries now. If you have some kind of list with cards that have erroneously UE or even 1E galleries, please give me a poke, I'll try to take care of them. This is something I've been wanting to do for the Starter and Structure Decks, since I just went through all of them. But I've been a bit lazy, I confess. <span class="nowrap">Becasita <small>Pendulum</small></span> <span class="nowrap">(talk • contribs)</span> 13:46, May 27, 2016 (UTC)

Thanks for giving a try to my template! You need to pass the name of the card through the <code>name</code> parameter. You don't need to do it if the card only has one word in its name, but not non-alphabetical characters. An example for the "Lesser Fiend" you uploaded:

<pre>

{{subst::User:Becasita/SubPages/Templates/CardImage

Feel free to ask any questions. <span class="nowrap">Becasita <small>Pendulum</small></span> <span class="nowrap">(talk • contribs)</span> 23:24, May 28, 2016 (UTC)

When you upload images that contain a word after their edition, that means the <code>alt</code> parameter should be used. If you are using my template, please be sure to read it.  <span class="nowrap">Becasita <small>Pendulum</small></span> <span class="nowrap">(talk • contribs)</span> 10:55, June 16, 2016 (UTC)

Please stop uploading the images without the correct input. If you keep doing it wrong, I'll have to ask you to stop using my template. And if you keep doing it wrong and not caring about these messages, I'll have no choice but to call an admin's attention. <span class="nowrap">Becasita <small>Pendulum</small></span> <span class="nowrap">(talk • contribs)</span> 11:34, June 16, 2016 (UTC)

And I ask you to go through your recent uploads and correct the files' code. [ Like so]. <span class="nowrap">Becasita <small>Pendulum</small></span> <span class="nowrap">(talk • contribs)</span> 11:36, June 16, 2016 (UTC)

:If you want to call an Admin before waiting for my response, be my guest. I am really interested in seeing if there will be any result to that. It's not like I am doing any damage. I read the instructions for your template but it didn't say anything about the alt parameter being used with different colors of card names. I tried it the way it says (alt = 1) and it didn't work. Not everybody is as experienced as you are so please don't act as if I'm supposed to know everything in advance. Thanks Fensterhoff (talk • contribs) 12:51, June 16, 2016 (UTC)

<div style="margin-left: 3.2em;">

You uploaded ten files after my message to alert you to your mistake. You kept doing it wrong, so I assumed you ignored.<br />

Colors are passed through the <code>alt</code> parameter. If you didn't know that, then I apologize. I should have never suggested you to use my template, since I see you didn't know how to use the OCG-TCG card image template properly.<br />

Besides, there is an explicit example at my page for :File:GraphaDragonLordofDarkWorld-DL18-SP-R-UE-Purple.png, which uses a color in its name; so which part is not as explicit as you would like it to be? (Please tell me so I can make it more explicit. Thanks.)<br />

In case you still have doubts, for :File:SolemnWarning-DL18-SP-R-UE-Red.png, for instance, just like for :File:SolemnWarning-DL18-SP-R-UE-Purple.png, it would be something like:

<pre>

</pre>

Or:

<pre>

</pre>

(Unused parameters can be omitted.)<br />

Try it and you'll see <code>alt = 1</code> does work. Besides, if you had any questions or something wasn't working correctly, you just had to ask. I don't like when people do things in a wrong way and don't even care to make it right or to understand where the problem was. Or you didn't realize the files you uploaded were still asking for a rename? In case you failed to notice it, please pay more attention next time. Thank you. <span class="nowrap">Becasita <small>Pendulum</small></span> <span class="nowrap">(talk • contribs)</span> 13:10, June 16, 2016 (UTC)

</div>

::: There is an example for a color in the card name but as I already mentioned, it is not explicit enough for not suggesting using the color name in the parameter itself (instead of the digit '1'). I tried the alt = 1 parameter before and after you mentioned it and it still doesn't work. It has nothing to do with not knowing how to use a template. I also tried to use the Dinoguy1000's boilerplate for Galleries as you suggested and it doesn't work as well. You say you don't like people who don't ask questions. Well you don't seem to be much different as not waiting for an answer is almost the same as not asking questions. If you stop assuming things maybe you will be less irritated by other people's actions or lack of them. Finally, I didn't check the end result after uploading the files to notice the error notice, it was my bad on that part. I will pay more attention in the future. Sorry for taking too much of your time. Fensterhoff (talk • contribs) 14:01, June 16, 2016 (UTC)

::::Ah, I see where the problem is. You are confusing the templates. When you're using OCG-TCG card image, the <code>alt</code> has to be filled with the word after the last dash (<code>-</code>). In this particular case, the color of the card name. When you're using my template, you just need to use <code>1</code> (or anything else, to be honest (with some exceptions)). When you were correcting the files, the template being used is OCG-TCG card image. So you had to enter "blue", "purple", etc.. If you are uploading a pic using my template, you can just use the <code>| alt = 1</code>, like it's said on my page. Like [ this], for instance (check the "File history" section to see the input).

::::As for the boilerplate, I don't know why you say it didn't work. It does work, I use it myself everyday. You're probably doing something wrong, if you could explain better how you tried to use it, maybe I could help you.

::::The wikia supposedly has a script to throw a yellow pop-up mini-window at the right inferior corner of the window, in case you're using the [ wikia skin]. If you're using the [ monobook skin], it appears as a green banner at the top of the page (if I recall correctly). A more simple method now is the following:

<pre>

</pre>

All you need to do in the future is insert the name, and nothing else. On a side note, I would appreciate if you managed to scan any of the pamphlet guides in the older TCG Decks, if you have them.--UltimateKuriboh (talk • contribs) 18:03, August 30, 2016 (UTC)

::Thanks but as always something just doesn't seem to work. I recently created a new gallery Set_Card_Galleries:Exclusive_Pack_(TCG-PT-UE) and uploaded five photos the way you mentioned. Why do those images' descriptions appear with errors? Thanks Fensterhoff (talk • contribs) 22:46, October 26, 2016 (UTC)

:::Hi Fensterhoff. You did everything correctly. The problem was that the template that grabs the set name wasn't created yet.

:::Thanks for those images. Those are precious. <span class="nowrap">Becasita <sup><small>Pendulum</small></sup></span> <span class="nowrap">(talk • contribs)</span> 23:01, October 26, 2016 (UTC)

::::That makes sense, thanks. What doesn't make sense though is why does this page say there is no article for Fissure when it clearly exists: File:Fissure-MIY-IT-C-UE.png

:::::We have been experiencing some problems with SMW, which is what we use to store information. So, glitches like that one may happen. In that particular case, the template isn't being able to call for the name of the card, to check if it exists, resulting in it saying it doesn't exist (since the result from the call is empty). Anyway, the case with "Fissure" is not happening anymore (but may happen again, due to the instability with SMW). We can't do anything about that. <span class="nowrap">Becasita <small>Pendulum</small></span> <span class="nowrap">(talk • contribs)</span> 15:42, November 20, 2016 (UTC)

Hi. Just letting you know that you have created the wiki's 100,000 mainspace page; Set Card Galleries:Duelist League 17 participation cards (TCG-FR-UE). Thanks for it and all the work you've provided. -- Deltaneos (talk) 00:14, June 30, 2017 (UTC)

:It's a pleasure to work together with you guys, thanks for all your help. I appreciate your work very much as well. I have been busy lately so I have not been very active but that's going to change soon. Most of my work is yet to begin.
