Let's be honest here. I am aware of the fact that editing the source code to replace the PNG file format to JPG prevents easy file management in future. However, I'm only uploading images of cards most people don't have. And those who do have them have no intentions to update any Wikia pages. I actually purchase foreign language cards that are missing in the galleries with the sole intention to upload them here. So if nobody had added those missing foreign language cards since their release up until now, I doubt anyone else ever will.

Any card that I own is scanned with high resolution to a PNG file. Unfortunately some of the cards exist online only in JPG format and converting them to another format takes unnecessary time. And most definitely I am not planning to buy any cards that already have a scanned image available no matter the format. And even if for some reason there is be somebody who wants to replace the images I upload (very unlikely), editing the source code will take them less effort than it will take me to convert the files.

Thanks for your input but there is something more helpful for my cause that you could do. Since I don't have enough time to do it all myself, could you let me know which common/rare foreign language cards are missing in the galleries so I can purchase some of them and upload their scans? I don't know if there is a tool that lets you make a search of such criteria. If you can somehow help me with that I can use that saved time to actually convert JPG images to PNG as you asked for mutual benefit. There are 2 separate usergroups with privileges to rename pages and revert edits from users with 1 click, "movers" and "rollbackers" respectively. If you are uploading pics from sites like [http://www.tcgshop.co.kr/ tcgshop], you could change them to PNG. You just need to open them in Paint and save them as PNG. I know you're going to say it's a waste of time. But, to people like me, who has re-uploaded several pics as PNG, it would be really convenient.<br />

Very few people have them and they are either placing watermarks to sell or are not willing to spend the time uploading them. It just doesn't make any sense to convert them, I have more productive things to do. I would understand if I was uploading popular cards that are available anyway. ::It's preferable to have all the card scans in PNG. So you just need to make a small effort to upload the pics (whether you scanned them yourself, or downloaded them from a site) as PNG.

So if I (or anyone) ends up re-uploading these pics as PNG, that means your work was in vain; meaning it was, indeed, a waste of time. : Yes, cards that I upload in PNG format are in my possession. I will upload more Asian-English cards soon but those will be in JPG format and I find those from various Japanese auction websites with good quality photos that don't use stock photos like regular web stores do. I wouldn't upload an Asian-English image unless I am certain it has a Japanese back. I am not aware of any front side differences between AE and NA cards so I doubt there is a way to determine the card from the front alone. ::::::I've [[User:Becasita/SubPages/Regex|assembled some tools]] to help me build/update set galleries/lists, if one already exists. In that particular case, I grabbed the French one and just changed it to the Italian one.
::::::The current layout skeleton can be found [[User:Dinoguy1000/boilerplate|here]]. An example of it being used is the gallery you pointed above. Note that it may not look like the same thing, but when you publish that skeleton, it will transform itself.
::::::So, with both those sets of tools, what I do is: grab the entries of the files for an already existing gallery and paste it to a text editor; then, place the skeleton onto the page (you have to remove possible unnecessary parts); then, on the text editor, open the "find and replace" board (you should have this function on a text editor); I replace all the instances of the region index with the correct one (in the particular case above: <code>-FR</code> to <code>-IT</code>); then I add the correct {{t|Card name}} instance (to do this, go to the tools I use and you'll see one of the tables with what you need to find and what you need to replace (enable "regex"/"regular expressions"); finally, I copy that content to the correct place inside of the skeleton I previously placed on the page.

The problem is, the Spanish name for "Invader of Darkness" was in the way (it's a very particular case, coincidentally), triggering the check, making the template think there was no Spanish name.

Hello there. I don't know you and you don't know me. But it appears we share a common interest: a hunger for targeting and uploading card images which aren't on the wiki.

As I was reading random user talks (it's an habit of mine, sue me), I read you were interested in finding out which foreign language TCG cards are missing. If you still are, I could share with you a list of every Spanish card which has yet to be chronicled on the interwebs in one way or another. It's not "''The Comprehensive List of Every Missing Spanish Card (tm)''" and might not be completely up to date, but I compiled it in hopes of providing the Spanish wiki -in which I am part of its staff- with at least one example of every Spanish release. It took me more than a year to track every item, so I guess I don't want it to go to waste, heh. The only catch is that every card is listed under its Spanish name, but each card is listed alongside every set in which it has been printed on so far.

If you're interested, give me a shout and I'll post the list somewhere.

Okay then! [http://www.filedropper.com/missingspanishcards Here it goes.] As far as I know,  cards on the Spanish wiki might or might not be ones that this one currently show due to several reasons (staff having no time to keep Spanish wiki articles up to date, yours truly uploading newer sets on this wiki because the older ones on the Spanish wiki feature better images or no errata that urged users to replace images...). Thanks for giving a try to my template! You need to pass the name of the card through the <code>name</code> parameter. ::::Ah, I see where the problem is. You are confusing the templates. When you're using {{tlf|OCG-TCG card image}}, the <code>alt</code> has to be filled with the word after the last dash (<code>-</code>). In this particular case, the color of the card name. When you're using my template, you just need to use <code>1</code> (or anything else, to be honest (with some exceptions)). When you were correcting the files, the template being used is {{tlf|OCG-TCG card image}}. So you had to enter "''blue''", "''purple''", etc.. If you are uploading a pic using my template, you can just use the <code>| alt = 1</code>, like it's said on my page. Like [{{fullurl:File:GraphaDragonLordofDarkWorld-DL18-EN-R-UE-Blue.png|useskin=monobook}} this], for instance (check the "File history" section to see the input).

:::::We have been experiencing some problems with SMW, which is what we use to store information. So, glitches like that one may happen. In that particular case, the template isn't being able to call for the name of the card, to check if it exists, resulting in it saying it doesn't exist (since the result from the call is empty). Anyway, the case with "Fissure" is not happening anymore (but may happen again, due to the instability with SMW).
