I kind of agree with you on that a bit. Sometimes, in the DM anime, when monsters are destroyed by attacks(or card effects that are treated as attacks), their ATK is shown getting reduced to 0 before they are destroyed and this must be why the ATK of "[[Orichalcos Shunoros]]" dropped to 0 when "[[Mirror Force]" destroyed it. This is possibly an anime ruling that existed in the DM series.
