  • In the anime, this was the first Warrior "ZW -" monster to be revealed. However in the OCG/TCG, this is the second Beast monster in that archetype.
  • This card has a similar English name to the Equip Spell Card, "Lightning Blade".
  • This monster is based on the White Tiger, one of the Four Symbols in Chinese astrology.
    • This card is the first revealed "ZW -" monster whose English name does not include the name of the animal it depicts, a trait shared only by the other two Main Deck "ZW -" monsters in its debut set, "Ultimate Shield" and "Tornado Bringer".
  • This monster's equip form appears in the background of its artwork.
