- This monster's name is based on Kyrios, the Greek word for "Lord", which was used in the Septuagint instead of the Abrahamic God's personal name Yahweh, and is the basis for all later translations of the Torah.
- This is the first Link Monster, and the third overall Extra Deck monster (after "Michael, the Arch-Lightsworn" and "Minerva, the Exalted Lightsworn"), for the "Lightsworn" archetype.
- Despite most of its TCG names assuming that this monster (based on its androgynous design) is male, its French name assumes that it is a female. This is based on the usage of the feminine form of the adjective for "curious", Curieuse (not Curieux), and a feminine title, la Dominatrice (not le Dominateur).
