- This card can be searched via "Witch of the Black Forest".
- Special summon this card in Defense Position to get rid of a problem monster and easily take it out before your opponent has a chance to use its effect.
- this works especially well in a deck that runs "Molten Destruction" (To lower Volcanic Queen's defense) or/and a monster that inflicts Peircing damage, like "Gaia Soul the Combustible Collective".
- This card works well with "Gravity Bind", "Messenger of Peace", "Creature Swap" etc.
- Summon this card to your opponent's side of the field in attack position while you control "Water Dragon" and then attack it.
- Use "Mask of Restrict" so your opponent can't Tribute this card. Also, your opponent will be forced to take 1000 damage during each of his End Phases since he would be unable to Tribute a monster.
- Also, use "Macro Cosmos" or "Dimensional Fissure" to prevent them from sending other cards to the Graveyard to make you lose 1000 LP.
- Use "Dark Room of Nightmare" to do 300 additional points of damage.
- Use "Kaiser Colosseum" to restrict your opponent from summoning more monsters.
- In Gladiator Beast Decks use this card to remove problem monsters like "Destiny Hero - Plasma" or "Jinzo" by Tributing that Monster to summon Volcanic Queen. Then you can attack it to summon whatever you need.
- Using this card and 1 set "Penguin Soldier", you can constantly return both monsters to your hand, to remove your opponent's strongest and most dangerous monsters from the field.

- If you do use Remove Brainwashing, you can get rid of 2 of your opponent's monsters by summoning 2 of these, use Remove Brainwashing to get them back, possibly activate Heavy Storm, Giant Trunade, or Cold Wave to disable your opponent's Spells and Traps, attack directly, then later send 2 cards from your side of the field to the Graveyard to inflict 7000 damage total to your opponent's Life Points.
- Use Discord to stop your opponent from using this card as a Synchro Material Monster.
- Use this card's single tribute cost to safely dispose of an opponent's "Stardust Dragon/Assault Mode", resulting in both it and their original "Assault Mode Activate"-tributed "Stardust Dragon" being unable to use their summon from graveyard effects at the End Phase, even if the "Volcanic Queen" special summon was negated by "Solemn Judgment".
- This card (other than Lava Golem) is one of the only cards that can get rid of "Vennominaga the Deity of Poisonous Snakes".
- This card also (other than Lava Golem) can help get rid of "Herald of Perfection".
