- This is the Dark counterpart of "Dunames Dark Witch".
- This is the only one of the Dark counterparts that is a Gemini monster.
- In the TCG, this is the only Dark counterpart with a name that has nothing to do with its normal version. This is due to the OCG version of Dunames Dark Witch actually being called "Dunames Valkyrie".
- Most of Dark Valkyria's colors are the opposite of "Dunames Dark Witch".
- This card's effect is the opposite of "Breaker the Magical Warrior", able to destroy monsters instead.
- This card is one of two monsters that are not Spellcasters that utilize Spell Counters in their effects, the other is being Armor Exe.
- This card seems to have the same color of skin that Yubel has.
- This is the first non-Spellcaster monster to be able to have a Spell Counter put on it.
- This is one of the few cases where the original card exceeds the Dark Counterpart in rarity in the TCG, with Dunames Dark Witch only appearing in Tournament Packs whereas Dark Valkyria comes in the Warrior's Strike starter deck.
