* Yes, your opponent can chain his face-down [[Royal Oppression]], and, due to the rulings on Ignition-like effects for Trap Cards, he can activate Royal Oppression's effect in the same Chain Link. **[[Royal Oppression]] cannot be activated multiple times during the same chain. That's because its initial activation has not resolved yet. It's the same as [[Light and Darkness Dragon]]. I kind of understand how this card works but then I thought about gladiator beast and got a little confused. Would I chain it to Test Tiger being sent to the graveyard or contact fusion?? If I already have it out I can practically negate most of the special summonig from a glad deck right? Also if I was to chain it I would do so to the monsters being sent back to the deck to bring out a new one right?69.111.115.10 03:43, 11 June 2009 (UTC)

You can activate Royal Oppression in respond to an inherent special summon as Test Tiger's or Fusion monsters that are summoned by contact fusion.
If Test Tiger's ignition effect is activated Royal Oppression can be chained to negate the effect, since it special summons a monster.
To the last question: Yes you can!

I activate Monster Reborn, and my opponent responds with a face-down royal oppression, I then chain return from the differnt dimension. Can he negate it again with the same oppression? will the answer differ if the oppression was already face-up? War Pigg 09:41, 11 June 2009 (UTC)
