Other methods of bringing out the Spellcasters include... well, besides tribute summoning (yeah right!) the only real way is sending them to the graveyard and reviving them with Monster Reborn or Exemplar. Anyways, that's basically the deck in a nutshell - I'll put up the side deck soon. Tell me what you think of this concept deck. Runer5h 02:15, 23 April 2009 (UTC)Runer5h

Dark Grepher is to get my spellcasters to the graveyard to revive quickly. Negate Attack does what it usually does. Hmm... I see problems with Monster Effects, even though you have Divine Wrath. I would replace it with Forbidden Chalice. I prefer it to Divine Wrath, even though it's Spell Speed 2. It costs no discard, and I think you could run one or two, while keeping the Divine Wraths. Brionac, Mist Wurm, and other such monsters can easily ruin Sorcerer, so I would crack down on them more. I hope I helped!--Black Rose 03:08, November 26, 2009 (UTC)

Use a few Magician's Valkyrias. That way, your opponent won't be able to attack either.

I don't understand how this deck hasn't been made yet! Seriously, Sorcerer of Dark Magic + Secret Village of the Spellcasters = Instant spell and trap lockdown for your opponent only. Oh, right, that's why no one's made this deck - there's a little issue about actually summoning the Sorcerer. Well, let's see what we can do about that.

I've tried to make a deck that can bring out SODM with great frequency. The obvious place to look for getting the Spellcasters I needed was Magician's Circle, and Magical Dimension to a lesser extent. The reason I chose the level 6 Spellcasters I did (they had to have less than 2000 ATK) is this:

 • Dark Red Enchanter: Although DRE technically has less than 2000 ATK, that very quickly becomes not the case. plus, I can discard cards from my opponent's hand. It seems like a no-brainer to me, actually.
 • Mutant Mindmaster: This one was chosen largely for its great DEF (assuming it survives long enough to go to defense position after being Circle'd), but more importantly for its incredible effect, and the synergy that effect has with Magical Dimension. See if you can figure it out...................................... time up! If you don't know, here it is: attack with Mutant Mindmaster, except you're really attacking with your opponent's monster that it's hypnotized. Then, before your opponent regains control of the monster, play Magical Dimension, tributing your opponent's monster for, say, Dark Red. Then, you can destroy an opponent's monster. It's an über combo, and if you get lucky, you can take out 3 of your opponent's monsters with one of your own and a spell card. If you're really lucky, you have the Sorcerer in hand and you can tribute your two Spellcasters for it!

Well, I'm a man of my word. Here's the side deck.

Mystic Tomato can bring out Mutant Mindmaster and defend my life points, if it comes to that. Forced Back and Black Horn are to stop monsters from ruining my day; Spell Shield and the Tools are to stop spells and traps if I haven't gotten my lockdown just yet.
