You can still combo this card with "DNA Transplant", since that Trap Card does not change the Attributes of Monsters that are in your hand.

Use cards like "A Feather of the Phoenix" or "Plaguespreader Zombie" to manipulate the card on top of your deck and thus which monster you can Summon.
