- This card can normally be used to Synchro Summon "Malefic Paradox Dragon" if either "Malefic Blue-Eyes White Dragon" or "Malefic Stardust Dragon" is discarded from your hand.
- If you use "Cost Down", you can also Synchro Summon a Level 7 (if you use "Malefic Red-Eyes Black Dragon") or Level 8 Synchro Monster (by targeting "Malefic Blue-Eyes White Dragon" or "Malefic Stardust Dragon" with "Cost Down").
- If you use DNA Surgery to make this card Dragon-type, you can synchro summon Trident Dragion easily by using Malefic Blue-Eyes White Dragon or Malefic Stardust Dragon
