This [[archetype]] has not a single form of cohesive gameplay, although a few of the members do have similarities with each other. For example "[[Heraldry Change]]" and "[[Heraldry Record]]" have [[effect]]s that [[negate]] [[Battle Damage]] or the [[activate|activation]] of a card's effect. Similarly "Heraldry Change" and "[[Advanced Heraldry Art]]" are used to [[support]] the "[[Heraldic Beast]]" [[archetype]] (also used by [[Vetrix]]) by [[Special Summon]]ing them to perform a fast [[Xyz Summon]].
