Asian-English is an alternative variety of cards. These cards are not tournament legal outside Asia.

There are several differences between an Asian-English version and an original version. For example:

  • The "Yu-Gi-Oh!" logo on the back is different.
  • The language id used in card numbers, for newer sets is AE, older sets use no language id.
