Okay I was reading what you guys wrote about the spell card Message in a Bottle before and it seemed to make sense to me that you can special summon the searchers: photon lizard, orbital 7, or galaxy wizard to get their effects in the graveyard when tributed for their costs. But now I see a second note saying you can't get their effects.

So could you clear up my confusion here and tell me what would happen if I summoned photon lizard as one of the monsters for Message in a Bottles effect and tried to activate his effect, would I be able to get a photon monster from my deck or not?--68.80.142.179 (talk) 09:04, March 11, 2013 (UTC)

A second question to add to this involving the message in a bottle effect is:

Can I still activate Message in a Bottle if I special summoned a monster using monster reborn from my graveyard before I use the spell?--68.80.142.179 (talk) 09:13, March 11, 2013 (UTC)

It's the same as Forum:Debris Dragon Q.
"You cannot Special Summon any other monsters... during the turn you activate this card." means no.
