- This card can be Tribute Summoned with one Tribute using "Double Coston" and Fires of Doomsday, or Special Summoned using Archfiend Palace -Maze of the Malign- and Knight of Archfiends.
- Keep in mind that this card banishes "Archfiend" cards, not necessarily monsters. Thus, for example, you can use "Archfiend's Roar" to Special Summon this card, then banish "Roar" to destroy a card your opponent controls.
- If the banished card is a DARK monster (and most Archfiends are) you can use "Escape from the Dark Dimension" to summon it, possibly on the same turn you banish it. (You can even summon two copies of this card on one turn this way.)
- If this card destroys itself in the End Phase by its own effect, it can trigger the effect of "Pandemonium", allowing you to search almost any "Archfiend" monster from your Deck.
- This card could work well in a Skill Drain Deck.
