Mystic Swordsman LV2 will kill any [[face-down]] monster card, and immediately send it to the [[Graveyard]], without activating the vast majority of effects. However effects that resolve in the [[Graveyard]], like [[Sangan]] or [[Witch of the Black Forest]], or even [[Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys]], are not prevented. Flip Effects, and Effects that activate as a result of battle, do not occur.
