- Many "Elemental HERO" monsters are based on American superheroes; "Burstinatrix" seems to be based on Fire and/or Firestar.
- Burstinatrix's original flavor text says she is the only female "Elemental HERO". While this was correct at time of printing (which was The Lost Millennium), with the release of "Elemental HERO Lady Heat" and "Elemental HERO Poison Rose", this is no longer true. "Elemental HERO Rampart Blaster" is also female, but it is likely that Fusions didn't count.
- Her flavor text was errata'd in Legendary Collection 2: The Duel Academy Years to say that she was the first female "Elemental HERO".
- Interestingly, on "The King of Copycats" DVD from the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX series, "Burstinatrix" is wearing her OCG costume and not the edited version she wears in the TCG.
- "Burstinatrix" is gifted with pyrokinesis.
- "Elemental HERO Burstinatrix" appears in the artwork of the following cards:
- "Burst Return"
- "Dark Fusion"
- "Elemental Recharge"
- "Fifth Hope"
- "HERO's Bond"
- "Burst Impact" (Anime only)
- "Hero's Backup" (Anime only)
- "Spiritual Fusion" (Anime only)
