This card was banned, because people were using Metamorphosis on Scapegoat Tokens to increase the ease of summoning this card. The card also effectively prevented attacks from ever taking place as long as it remained face-up on the field, equipped an opponent's monster at leisure, and could not have been destroyed as a result of battle if equipped with a monster card.
