The opponent I battled said that if I had eye of timaeus I had to target 1 dark magician card on the field, but that card doesn't have to leave the field. So for example I have dark magician on the field i use the eye of timaeus and get amulet dragon on the field. He says I can keep dark magician on the field aswell because the card says that it only needs to target and not send it to graveyard. - No. No it is not
- Thats like saying I can keep my Ritual Spell around after I used it...
- The Eye's procedure is slightly different, but its ultimately a Fusion summon and follows the same rules, that is to say Material goes to Grave.
- You will notice Polymerization ALSO doesn't say it sends its material to grave, same thing here its implied in "Using monsters from X as Fusion material"
