  • This card is famous for the fact that only four of them were ever printed - three of which are in Seto Kaiba's deck. Yugi's grandfather, Solomon Mutou had the fourth, but Seto Kaiba challenged him to a duel and won. He stole his Blue-Eyes and ripped it up, because he didn't want anyone to use it against him (since a duelist can only have up to three copies of the same card in a deck, Seto Kaiba physically could not use the fourth). Since then, Blue-Eyes has been used in almost all of Seto Kaiba's duels, except during the Battle City Finals Four-Way Duel, which determined who faced who in the Battle City Finals. It is not known if more Blue-Eyes White Dragons were printed afterwards in the anime.
