(Note: the Japanese name was used once by Crow when he discovered the empty helicopters that appears in ''[[DestinyYu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Will]]''.

The true goal behind the bureau this department is to prevent the evil sealed in the [[Nazca Lines ]] by the [[Crimson Dragon]] from being reborn. They attempt to do this by cleansing evil from [[New Domino City]], which [[Rex Goodwin]] believes to be the only present -day Utopiautopia. This is done by keeping unworthy people out of New Domino and forcing them to reside in the run -down [[Satellite]].

Believing that allowing residents of Satellite into New Domino will cause the world its society to fall into disorder, some members, called '''SecuritiesSecurity''', often deal with keeping residents of Satellite out of New Domino City.

There are several different Sector Security directors throughout the course of the ''Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D'List of directorss'' anime.*[[Rex Goodwin]] (formerly, deceased)serves as the director from the start of the series until he departs for the afterlife in {{episode|Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's|64}}.*[[LuccianoLester]], [[JoseJakob]], and [[PlacidoPrimo]] (apparently all jointly share this the position)of director from {{episode|Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's|65}} until {{episode|Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's|117}}, when [[Team New World]] [[Falsification of history|altered]] the present so that they never were directors.* [[Lazar]] was promoted to director when history was [[Falsification of history|falsified]]

All of the Security officers have been given a special deck that utilizes are permitted to use the otherwise banned card "[[Gate Blocker (anime)|Gate Blocker]]", a card that was banned which prevents the opponent from utilizing [[Turbo DuelSpeed Counter]]s because of its effect to negate the accumulation . The officers otherwise use an array of Speed Counters on the opponent's [[Speed WorldTrap Card]]s.
