'''Grandpa Demetto''' is a character appearing in the [[Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL (manga)|''Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL'' manga]]. Few is known about him.

It is unclear exactly who or what Grandpa Demetto was the one who granted , as his origin was never explained. When [[Cologne]] [[Duel]]s [[Koron-chanYuma Tsukumo (manga)|Yuma Tsukumo]] , Grandpa Demetto appears as a soulpart of her [[Field Spell Card|Field]] "[[Doll House]]", by "fixing" Cologne's destroyed "[[Dr. FakerDoll Monster]]s". She says that if Yuma "breaks" her dolls, Grandpa Demetto will fix them for her. When Yuma's friends make bad comments about Demetto's requestappearance, Cologne screams that Grandpa Demetto is always doing his best to fix the dolls, giving her and that she won't allow them to treat him as a fool.<ref name="humanitych16". >{{chapter|Yu-Gi-Oh! After Koron-chan loses her [[DuelFile:Demetto saves Koron.jpg|thumb|left|Demetto saves Cologne.]] After Cologne lost her Duel against [[Yuma Tsukumo (manga)|Yuma Tsukumo]], she is was thrown to inside the Doll House which was in fire which surrounded the field by the attack of Yuma's "[[Number]]". [[Cathy (manga)|Cathy]] tries tried to save her, but in the hurry, her haste she mistakes and brings one of KoronCologne's doll out of the fire dolls for her instead. This time, Yuma goes decides to go save herCologne, but he couldn't get , who comes outof the Doll House carrying her in his arms is the one who gave Cologne a soul - Grandpa Demetto. When both were going Cologne's soul was supposed to be burntleave her body, Grandpa but Demetto appearsgave her his own soul, and leads them which allowed her to keep alive. While he sends Cologne out of the firetowards Yuma, being himself he is engulfed by the flames, together with the field. Koron Cologne mourns his death, saying that she loved him. <ref name="ch18">{{chapter|Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL|18|ref}}</ref> ==Trivia==* Grandpa Demetto may be based on the character "[[wikipedia:Gepletto|Geppetto]]" from the children's novel, ''[[wikipedia:The Adventures of Pinocchio| The Adventures of Pinocchio]]''. In the novel, Geppetto is a kindly old woodcarver who created the wooden puppet [[wikipedia:Pinocchio|Pinocchio]], who is brought to life and is treated as Geppetto's "son".
