Changes

As it coincides with ''[[Yu-Gi-Oh! GO RUSH!!]]'', which promotes ''[[Yu-Gi-Oh! Rush Duel]]'', it does not introduce anime cards from a concurrent series into the ''[[TCGOCG]]''/''[[OCGTCG]]'', instead focusing on supporting existing themes from the first 6 [[Nihon Ad Systems|NAS]] anime series, from ''[[Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters]]'' to ''[[Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS]]'', although unlike Series 11, the first few Series 12 core boosters do did include cards from past anime series. Each set features a theme from a climactic Duel from the anime, with the [[cover card]] being based on a powerful monster used during it, as well as introducing a new [[series]] or [[archetype]] inspired by an old iconic card.

Series 12 also features several [[archetype]]s and cards that compose [[card storylines|storyline]]s centered around "[[Diabellstar the Dark Witch]]" and the "[[Sinful Spoils]]" theme, as well as continuing the "[[Visas Starfrost]]" storyline.
