[[Leo]] activates "[[Power Tool Dragon]]'s" effect, getting adding a random Equip Spell from his Deck to his hand. He gets "[[Double Tool C&D]]". He then switches "[[Power Tool Dragon]]" to [[Attack Position]] (2000/2200) and equips it with "[[Double Tool C&D]]" . Since it is currently Leo's turn, "Double Tool C&D" increases the ATK of "Power Tool Dragon" by 1000 ("Power Tool Dragon": 2000/2200 → 3000/2200). He Leo then attacks and destroys "[[Zeman the Ape King]]" with "Power Tool Dragon". [[Leo]] then activates "[[Power Tool Dragon]]'s" effect, destroying sending "[[Double Tool C&D]]" to the Graveyard to prevent "[[Power Tool Dragon]]" from being destroyed ("Power Tool Dragon": 3000 → 2000/2200). Because of that, only "Zeman" is destroyed. Devack activates his [[face-down]], card "[[Dark Matter]]", drawing the top 2 two cards of his deck ("[[Ape Magician]]" and "[[Ape Fighter]]") and setting them in his [[Monster Card Zone]]s. [[Leo]] equips "[[Power Tool Dragon]]" with "[[Power Converter]]". Now during either player's turn, Leo can send "Power Converter" to the Graveyard to increase his Life Points by the ATK of the monster equipped with "Power Converter", but that monster's ATK will be reduced to 0 until the End Phase.

Devack draws "Earthbound Immortal Cusillu". [[Devack]] [[Tribute]]s his set "Ape Magician" and "Ape Fighter" to [[Tribute Summon]] "[[Earthbound Immortal Cusillu]]" (2800/2400)in Attack Position. As Devack has 8 [[Monster Card|monsters]] in his [[Graveyard]]; "[[Closed Forest]]'s" effect increases "Cusillu's" [[ATK]] by 800 ("Cusillu": 2800/2400 → 3600/2400). Attacks Devack then attacks Leo directly with "Cusillu" via its own effect, but Leo sends the equipped "[[Power Converter]]" on his field to the Graveyardto activate its effect, increasing his [[Life Points]] by "Power Tool Dragon's" ATK, but reducing "Power Tool Dragon's" ATK to 0 until the [[End Phase]] ("Power Tool Dragon":2000/2200 → 0/2200), (Leo:2000 → 4000). The attack continues, but Leo manages to survive the attack (Leo: 4000 → 400). Luna at this point takes over for Leo's place in the duel. Devack then activates his set "[[Cursed Prison]]", [[Special Summon]]ing "[[Ancient Fairy Dragon]]" from his [[Extra Deck]] in [[Defense Position]] (2100/3000). On the End Phase, the effect of "Power Converter" wears off, returning the ATK of "Power Tool Dragon" to how it was before Leo used the effect of "Power Converter" ("Power Tool Dragon": 0 → 2000/2200).
