So this came up in a game tonight on DN. The person I was playing against was insisting that he would get to summon Gorz the Emissary of Darkness and burn me due to the use of Exploder Dragonwing. He was using the same statement in the rulings page here of Exploder's effect destroying and burning simultaneously as the reason why he could summon it. I allowed him to have his summon and the burn just to have the game move on, though I still believe it was the wrong move.

So the question is, if Exploder Dragonwing destroys a monster via its effect and deals effect damage, would Gorz be able to be legally summoned? - Axel Shiokawa (talkcontribs) 08:31, June 4, 2013 (UTC)

It is same as Gorz vs. Ring of Destruction, which you can read in Ring of Destruction's ruling.-- (talkcontribs) 08:41, June 4, 2013 (UTC)
