OCG Rulings
- The effect of being able to attack twice is a Continuous Effect.[1]
- The effect which Special Summons "Double Dude Token"s is a Trigger Effect. It activates during the next Standby Phase.[1]
- If you do not have 2+ open Monster Card Zones, then you cannot activate the effect to Special Summon the "Double Dude Token"s.[1]
Mentions in Other Rulings
- The Original ATK and DEF of a Monster Token are the values printed on the card which Special Summoned it. If no value is declared as in "Cloning"/"Physical Double"/etc, then you use the Monster Token's ATK/DEF when it is Special Summoned as the Original ATK and DEF. You use these values when a Monster Token is equipped with "Megamorph", etc.[2]
- If the second direct attack is declared by the same monster that performed the first direct attack, then you cannot activate "Confusion Chaff".[3]
- For example, when "Mataza the Zapper" or "Cyber Twin Dragon" perform two direct attacks, you cannot activate "Confusion Chaff".
Previously Official Rulings
These TCG rulings were issued by Upper Deck Entertainment and have since been declared unofficial by Konami.[4] They were previously considered official and can still be correct, as long as they follow the official gameplay rules, or unless Konami has issued a ruling that says otherwise. - This card's effect activates in the Graveyard. If "Destiny Hero - Double Dude" is removed from play its effect will not activate.
- If "Destiny Hero - Double Dude" is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard while in the hand or Deck his effect still activates, and you can Special Summon the 2 "Double Dude Tokens". He could be destroyed in the hand or Deck by effects like "Neo-Spacian Aqua Dolphin" or "Chain Destruction".
