Yuma and [[Astral]] perform a [[ZEXAL Morph]], overlaying themselves into [[ZEXAL III]]. Yuma then performs a [[Shining Draw]] and activates "[[Overlay Drop Reborn]]", letting him send a Level 4 or lower monster in his hand to the Graveyard to Special Summon a Rank 4 or lower Xyz Monster from his Graveyard. Then, he can detach Overlay Units attached to a monster his opponent controls equal to the Rank of the Summoned monster. However, if does notdetach Overlay Units, the ATK and DEF of the Summoned monster becomes become 0 and its effects are negated. Yuma sends "Gagaga Guardian", Special Summons "Utopia" (2500/2000) and detaches four Overlay Units from "Barian Hope". As an Overlay Unit attached to an Xyz Monster he controls is being affected by a card effect, Nash activates his face-down "[[Overlay Menace]]", negating the effect that detaches the Overlay Units attached to "Barian Hope", then and allowing him to draw a card and gain 500 Life Points for each Overlay Unit attached to "Barian Hope" (Nash 1100 → 4600).
