When the LID accused Yuya of the attack on Sylvio and challenged them to a face off in order to clear his name, Frederick cheered Yuya<ref name="ep9">{{episode|Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V|9|ref}}</ref> and the others on.<ref name="ep10">{{episode|Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V|10|ref}}</ref><ref name="ep11">{{episode|Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V|11|ref}}</ref> Later on in the Duel between Yuya and [[Declan Akaba|Declan]], he was extremely surprised to see Declan's ability and was left speechless.<ref name="ep12">{{episode|Yu-Gi-Oh! During the Duels arranged by [[Nico Smiley]] to help Yuya to qualify for the Junior Arc League Championship, he along with Allie and Tate became Yuya's cheering squad and cheered for him during his Duels.<ref name="ep16">{{episode|Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V|16|ref}}</ref><ref name="ep17">{{episode|Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V|17|ref}}</ref><ref name="ep19">{{episode|Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V|19|ref}}</ref><ref name="ep20">{{episode|Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V|23|ref}}</ref> But on request by Nico, they stayed behind the scenes during Yuya's qualifying Duel against [[Gong Strong|Gong]],<ref name="ep25">{{episode|Yu-Gi-Oh!
