* Use [[Chainsaw Insect]] or [[Destiny Hero - Defender]] with [[Appropriate]] and combine it with [[Solemn Wishes]] so anytime you draw cards, your Life points increase.
* This card works extremely well with "[[Reload]]" , "[[Magical Mallet]]", or "[[Monster Recovery]]" as you will be able to change the cards in your hand, and draw them all as you gain 500 [[Life Point]]s.
* Using "[[Solemn Wishes]]" with "[[Card Trader]]", results in you gaining 1000 [[Life Points]] per turn.
* Use "[[Solemn Wishes]]" with "[[Fairy Box]]" for a good defencedefense.You gain 500 Life points while you draw, you lose 500 points for "[[Fairy Box]]".
* "[[Solemn Wishes]]" and "[[Heart of the Underdog]]" make a potent combination, useful for stall "[[Exodia]]" decks - you will gain another 500 [[Life Points]] for every card you draw.
