Alongside Rilliona, Endymion, and Zoroa, Crowley can also summon his own Guardian from another world: Aiwass

Biography
As a baby, Crowley was left in a basket in the woods. Despite there being wild animals present, he was protected by the spirit, Korozo, until he was found by a retired scholar, who assumed the role of a surrogate grandfather.

Korozo, who was only visible to Crowley, stuck with him through his life. Crowley would sometimes be mistaken as being talking to himself when speaking to Korozo and some people would dismiss Koroza as being imaginary.

Crowley was considered to have gotten a good upbringing and that he grew into an honest young man with no grudges against the world. The fact that he was raised by an individual open to magic, meant he grew up not being shunned for his magical abilities, which was commonly seen as a cause for worry in the world. Crowley's grandfather taught him that special powers depend entirely on their wielder and can be used for both good and evil. So he felt it was important for spellcasters such as Crowley to work for the good of the people, so that they might one day look differently upon them. When his grandfather died, Crowley was brought to Graybeard, which was a haven for spellcasters.

One day, Crowley, accompanied by Korozo, climbed up a rock formation onto a plateau with a flowery meadow. Crowley made note that he must remember the place. He could significantly feel the flow of mana and decided to gather it to create some impressive magic. He drew a symbol onto a piece of paper and lets it blow away. Afterwards mana gathered in a circle around it. However too much mana was drawn together, which caused an explosion-like reaction. The effects were felt elsewhere as it interfered with Endymion's mana-crystalization experiment.

Crowley and Rilliona were both scolded by Endymion later for each interfering with his experiments. Shortly after, Crowley questioned if the others had felt that the flow of mana has become much more unstable recently. He explained that he was studying "invocation summoning magic"; that he follows the path of mana that flows into this world and summons forth spirits from another world. He theorized that there are two types of mana; one that forms from life energy and one that flows into this world from another. However Endymion thought the ideas of another world and summoning spirits were ridiculous. Crowley tried to argue that such spirits were real, citing Korozo as an example, which Endymion dismisses as being an imaginary animal. Zoroa and Spoon were more open-minded to Crowley's ideas and the importance of investigating all fields of magic. However Crowley fell asleep at this point.

The next day Crowley was awoken by Coroza who noticed some strange mana. Accompanied by Endymion and Rilliona, Crowley traced the source of the abnormal mana to a dried up spring in the forest. Crowley suspected the mana was from another world and attempted to contain it with a magical circle. However this caused the tadpole-like shapes within the mana to fuse together and form a spirit summoned from another world. Crowley was happy to have his theories proven right, but the spirit proceed to attack them. Attempts to fight back were futile until Koroza absorbed all the other-world mana, causing the other spirit to disappear and Koroza to change shape. Koroza reverted to their normal form shortly afterwards and collapsed into Crowley's hands.
