  • Use this card to damage yourself, if you need lower life points than your opponent.
  • Use this card as a finisher at Burn Decks. Try lowering your opponent's LPs up to 1000, then if they try to destroy your Spells/Traps, make sure this card is Set, thus blowing up your opponent easily. The combo "Lava Golem" and "Messenger of Peace" is a great choice.
  • Combine this card with "Battle Mania" and "Magical Hats" while your opponent controls at least 3 monsters to do 2000 damage to them.
  • Not so much a game mechanic, but if you could bluff your opponent into thinking that you've set a powerful Trap Card, causing them to have a need to remove it or prevent them from attacking until it has been removed.

You destroy this card and an opponent's card, but then activate "Barrel Behind the Door" to inflict the 1000 damage to your opponent. Doing so would however use a bunch of cards for little benefit and is thus not recomended.
