- Use this card right before you Synchro Summon to not leave a weakened monster on the field.
- This card can also be used with a T.G. Synchro Monster, before you use T.G. Recipro Dragonfly's effect on it.
- Alternatively, you can use it with T.G. Blade Blaster, if you're planning on removing it from play or before you remove it from play.
- Use this in response to an effect which destroys your monster, to minimize loss.
- Use this in response to "Bottomless Trap Hole" or similar so your monster is not destroyed.
- You can add Mystical Space Typhoon or Dust Tornado instead of this card since the affects are the same except that you don't need to half the attack of your T.G. monster.
- You can use this to half damage taken from Magic Cylinder or similar.
