Keeping with the theme of Genetics, this monster is an amalgamation of several weaker monsters, presumably through gene splicing, including "Archfiend Marmot of Nefariousness", "Feral Imp" and "Granite Battleguard", whose mace it also happens to wield.
This monster is named after the marmot and troll.
