- In episode 35 of Yu-Gi-Oh! GX, "King Dragun" was used by Slade Princeton in his Duel to take over Duel Academy against Chazz Princeton. Slade used this card's effect to Special Summon "Luster Dragon #2" and "Hyozanryu".
- Its attack name is "Fire Scourge" in the English anime and "Twilight Burn" in the Japanese version.
- Helio uses this in Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's World Championship 2009: Stardust Accelerator. He can Summon it with "The Dark - Hex-Sealed Fusion" and "Divine Dragon Ragnarok" using "The Dark - Hex-Sealed Fusion's" effect or "Dragon's Mirror".
