** As someone who watched the raw Anime, I must say that the cards did visually spin above the players' heads in it as well. The spin wasn't dub-only. Rather, the Card-of-the-Week entries for the Anime cards all specified coin-flipping, meaning that the spin wasn't dub-only but instead a replacement for coin-flipping, but instead meant to relate to Tarot and how cards appear reversed in such. --65.185.177.211 21:48 31 August 2007

(under normal circumstances) whether you get the Heads effect, this card has [[Obelisk the Tormentor|God]]-like strength, and yet it can return '''''ANY''''' card in your graveyard to your hand at no cost of cards or life points. This card could start an infinite recycling chain, if you add other stalling and recycling cards. I do not understand why people keep saying that the Arcana Force monsters have your opponent choose which effect is used. The whole "spinning" thing is just for flavour. The Japanese card reads that a coin is flipped.

Also, in Yu-Gi-Oh! GX - Episode 073 - Source of Strength Sartorious even says that it only gives the illusion of choice. That's a pretty strong indication that he doesn't choose.

It's just like Roulette Spider. Your opponent only says when to stop spinning. He doesn't get to chose what the spider points at when it stops spinning.

(Besides, if your opponent got to chose, what would be the point of the cards? Your opponent would always chose the negative effects, and the cards would be useless.)--Deus Ex Machina 02:53, 31 January 2007 (UTC)

Arcana Force - Effects

I think Deus Ex Machina is correct on this. After all, the text on the cards in the Japanese anime says that their effects are solved through coins.

  • I agree. Japanese Text > Synthesis Text from examining the English Dub. --TwoTailedFox (My Talk Page) 17:24, 31 January 2007 (UTC)

And, how are you supposed to do the spining thing in real life anyway, I mean its ok in the anime, but...
