- This card, along with "Winged Kuriboh LV10", is an advanced form of "Winged Kuriboh".
- Unlike most other LV Monsters, "Winged Kuriboh LV9" cannot "level up" to "Winged Kuriboh LV10" or "level down" to "Winged Kuriboh".
- Strangely enough, its own effects conflict with each other, despite being powered by Spell Cards in the Graveyard, its other effect causes Spell Cards to be banished instead of being sent to the Graveyard, thus preventing itself from powering up. This is most likely a balance as your opponent's Graveyard is very likely to be filled with Spells.
