- This card can be searched by "Soul Rope", "Resonator Engine", "Vampire Dragon", "Summoner Monk", "Giant Rat", "UFOroid" and "Gear Gigant X".
- This card is quite weak compared to the other Ancient Gears, so make sure you use "Ancient Gear Castle" or "Gaia Power" to boost its effective attack.
- With the release of "Solidarity", this card has become more playable, and can be a more attractive option over "Ancient Gear Knight" as it doesn't require a second summon for its Spell/Trap protection.
Traditional Format
- This card can be searched by "Sangan", "Last Will" and "Witch of the Black Forest".
