I got one more proof that graverobber gives condition instead of lingering effect, if your opponent negate the activation of monster reborn that you receive from graverobber, you do not take the 2000 points of damage, if it wasn't a condition you would still take the damage even if monster reborn as it's activation negated. The only time that graverobber gives lingering effect would be in this example:

It is you turn: You have double spell in your hand, your plan his to activated double spell to activated monster reincarnation in your opponent's graveyard, you have no spell card to discard for double spell, however you have a set graverobber ready to use, you activated graverobber to take monster reborn from your opponent's graveyard(doesn't have to be monster reborn). After that you activated double spell by discarding monster reborn, in this case you take the 2000 points of damage before double spell activation is complete. And also in this situation prime material dragon would fail to converted the damage into life points.[[Special:Contributions/96.44.92.186|96.44.92.186]] ([[User talk:96.44.92.186|talk]]) 16:05, June 8, 2012 (UTC)
