Stated the influence of Dark Bakura on Yu-Gi-Oh! R.
When the Yugi's defeated Dark Marik in the finals, Marik had managed to regain control of his body. He gave the "The Winged Dragon of Ra", the Millennium Ring and Millennium Rod to the Yugi's. Bakura also woke up and was unable to find the Millennium Ring. Dark Yugi lied that he hadn't seen the Ring, in order to stop Bakura taking it back and getting possessed.<ref>{{chapter|Yu-Gi-Oh! Duelist|218|ref}}</ref> However Bakura later found the Ring in Yugi's room and took it back.<ref>{{chapter|Yu-Gi-Oh! Duelist|219|ref}}</ref>

Dark Bakura does not appear at all in this arc, but his actions are directly responsible for its events, as his murder of Pegasus led [[Yako Tenma]] down the path for revenge, and the false account of Keith Howard causing Yako to target Yugi.
