Why is it that when Bakura, King of Thieves (his past self) died, Dark Bakura didn't die, but when Zorc Necrophades died, he did, and I don't recall Dark Bakura merging with Zorc in the manga.Scheepybird (talk • contribs) 23:22, September 2, 2015 (UTC)

Dark Bakura probably died due to losing the Shadow Game and thus having no avatars left. And it's ambiguous how much the Thief King is his past self. Sanokal K-T (talk • contribs) 01:36, September 3, 2015 (UTC)

Basically what Sanokal said. In the manga, it's simple. Dark Bakura is made from Bakura, King of Thieves and Zorc Necrophades, so he gets two avatars to bind himself to because he has the memories of both. When his time playing as Thief King Bakura was up (at the point where Thief King Bakura's memories end), he switched over to his next set of memories and character of Zorc. When Zorc was destroyed, Dark Bakura thus had no more avatars and died. VillainousTroper (talk • contribs) 10:00, August 26, 2016 (UTC)
