archetype conditions are not effects in the first place, therefore it makes no sense to say they're always active; they're an intrinsic part of the card itself and therefore don't have to be active
This type of condition is not present in the [[Yu-Gi-Oh! Official Card Game|OCG]], as cards with this condition in the TCG contain the archetype in their OCG names. This is primarily done for cards with well-established TCG names that it would not be appropriate to [[List of renamed cards|rename]].
This type of condition is active at all timesnot an [[Card effect|effect]], and is unaffected by cards such as "[[Skill Drain]]". It is also the only text to be printed in the [[card text]] of a Normal Monster that can affect gameplay in any way.
