Their is an effect monster, but for the anime and the games, the [[Yu-Gi-Oh!]] people decided that it would ruin the story if all the god cards had no effects, and then they wouldn't be rare (because they have no effect and be absolutely worthless), and no one would want them (real people, and fake (anime) people ).
