- This card can be searched via "Witch of the Black Forest", "Pyramid Turtle" and "Goblin Zombie".
- A versatile card with many uses in a Zombie deck. If you have it in your Graveyard, you can use a powerful Zombie monster as a discard cost for cards such as "Lightning Vortex" and then use Mezuki's effect to get it on the field.
- You can get "Mezuki" into the Graveyard easily with cards such as "Foolish Burial", "Snipe Hunter", "Phoenix Wing Wind Blast" or the aforementioned "Lightning Vortex".
