• This card can be searched via "Preparation of Rites", "Senju of the Thousand Hands" and "Manju of the Ten Thousand Hands".

• Use this card's effect on cards that are hard to destroy themselves, like "Marshmallon". (Note that you cannot use her effect on "Spirit Reaper", as doing so would destroy it.)

• Use this card's effect on "Secret Village of the Spellcasters" or "Burden of the Mighty". (Note that "Burden of the Mighty" would decrease the attack of powerful monsters like "Goyo Guardian", therefore "Divine Grace - Northwemko" would be stronger than "Goyo Guardian" and even harder to destroy.)

• You must control a Spellcaster-type monster beforehand to utilize Divine Grace - Northwemko in this way. Otherwise, the field spell's effect will prevent you from summoning it with Ritual of Grace.

• As an alternative to or extra support with "Burden of the Mighty", using "Forbidden Chalice" to support "Divine Grace - Northwemko" to boost it to 3100 ATK (at the cost of any active shields protecting "Divine Grace - Northwemko") is an excellent surprise move get a quick ATK boost to destroy troublesome monsters that this card wouldn't be able to beat normally in battle.
  • Additionally, "Forbidden Chalice" will save "Divine Grace - Northwemko" against any effect monster with a Bounce or Banish effect that doesn't include a destruction component (like "Neo-Spacian Grand Mole", "Caius the Shadow Monarch", etc)
  • Alternatively, run "Shrink" or "Rush Recklessly" for a similar effect with less toolbox utility (since both cards are only useful for battle, whereas "Forbidden Chalice" can be used offensively/defensively to negate monster effects as well).

• Like "Forbidden Chalice", "Forbidden Lance" is also excellent additional support for "Divine Grace - Northwemko" because you can use it offensively to weaken an attacking monster by 800 ATK and allow "Divine Grace - Northwemko" to be strong enough to attack over it or you can use it defensively to stop a Spell/Trap card from affecting "Divine Grace - Northwemko" (such as "Mind Control", "Enemy Controller", "Book of Moon", "Compulsory Evacuation Device", etc) and save you from losing valuable field control.

• Equip "Mist Body" to this card to make it nearly indestructible but watch out for cards like Caius the Shadow Monarch!

• Equip "Mist Body" to other monster you control before you summon "Divine Grace - Northwemko", select "Mist Body" as a target for "Divine Grace - Northwemko"'s effect. After that, activate "Collected Power" and choose "Divine Grace - Northwemko" as a target. That way "Divine Grace - Northwemko" will not be destroyed either by card effects nor by battle as long as "Mist Body" is equipped to it. Note that you still need to protect "Mist Body" from getting destroyed; cards like "Magic Reflector" can solve the problam.

• With the right additional support, "Scrubbed Raid" can aid "Divine Grace - Northwemko" very well against monster cards that bypass the shielding effect with bounce or removal effects (such as "Neo-Spacian Grand Mole").
  • Also as a Continuous Trap card, "Scrubbed Raid" is also an excellent target for "Divine Grace - Northwemko" to use for its shielding effect.

• Given that bounce and remove from play effects that don't have a destruction component to their card effect ("Compulsory Evacuation Device", "Neo-Spacian Grand Mole", "Mist Valley Soldier" and "Morphing Jar #2") are the easiest ways to bypass "Divine Grace - Northwemko's" shielding effect, while "Forbidden Chalice" also provides similar support to "Divine Wrath" to avoid these effects.

• Combo this card with other monsters or effects that wipe the field, such as "Judgment Dragon", "Demise, King of Armageddon", "Legendary Flame Lord", "Dark Dust Spirit", "Yubel - Terror Incarnate", etc., preferably by choosing it as one of the face-up cards for this card's effect. While other monsters get destroyed by their respective effects, this monster remains unscathed.

• Use this card's effect to target a face-up "Demise, King of Armageddon" to prevent Divine Grace - Northwemko from being destroyed when you activate it's effect.

• Use this card's effect on a "Magical Citadel of Endymion" with plenty of counters to get a near invincible monster.

• If you select a face-up "Ancient City - Rainbow Ruins" while you have 1 or more "Crystal Beast" monsters in your spell and trap card zone, this card becomes invincible as long as there is a crystal beast monster in your spell and trap card zone.

• Consider using the "Djinn of Rituals" cards to layer this monster with other effects.
  • Because this card has 7 stars, "Djinn Releaser of Rituals" is not only a practical approach, but also a devastating one. Combine this with "Magical Citadel of Endymion" to make this card virtually untouchable. Your opponent will have a tough time getting rid of either Citadel or Northwemko and will struggle to summon any powerful monsters without special summoning. If "Demise, King of Armageddon" is on the field, its effect will not destroy "Citadel" or Northwemko, so even stall tactics will not work.
  • Using "Sonic Bird" or "Eccentric Boy" in addition to the "Djinn of Rituals" cards is excellent fuel for "Dark Simorgh", which in itself as a Level 7 monster is great to use as a single ritual card to tribute for "Divine Grace - Northwemko" from the hand or field in a pinch while aiding your field protection.

• Using the effect of "Scrap Dragon" to target this card (with an already active target for its effect) equals one free destruction every turn.

• "Honest" is great support for keeping this card alive.

• "Effect Veiler" can easily drop Divine Grace - Northwemko's shields and allow you to counter attack with a destruction effect.
