:Yami Yugi is an interesting case. He has a separate article for his non-canon appearances, since the main article is so long. So the video games info should be placed in that article, which can be found at [[Yami Yugi in non-canon]]. I will go ahead and add it to that article. Any information like that about video games is appreciated. In most cases, it can be put in a subsection called "Non-canon appearances". Any expansion of the actual video game articles would be great too. There wasn't anything wrong with what you wrote, you just didn't put it in the right place, which is understandable.
