  • Messier 7 or M7, also designated NGC 6475 and sometimes known as the Ptolemy Cluster, is an open cluster of stars in the constellation of Scorpius.
  • This is the second Xyz Monster after "Number C39: Utopia Ray" to allow you to overlay another Xyz Monster to summon itself.
  • This card, for the Sacred, is similar to how its predecessor, the Vylon, had "Vylon Omega" which was also a monster that was the second of its kind to have a unique summoning mechanic.
  • The tips of the "wings" (top right corner) resemble some of the Vylon artifacts (Vylon Equip Spells), like Vylon Material and Vylon Filament.
  • The name Ptolemys comes from a Greek astronomer.
  • According to the Duel Terminal Storyline, this card is the combined form of the "seven chosen warriors" of the Sacred, combined into one.
    • It is also interesting to note that this card cannot be summoned using 7 Sacred in any way as of now, despite being, in the story, a combination of Sacred.
