- This card is based on a Japanese Rhinoceros Beetle
- This is the first Rank 6 Xyz Monster that is legal for tournament play.
- "Queen Nereia the Silvercrown" is also Rank 6 but is Illegal.
- This monster's armor is the same colours as "Steelswarm Roach": gold and black. Coincidentally, they're also both Xyz Monsters.
- This card may have been based off of Kabuterios from the Metal Hero series "B-Fighter Kabuto" (Known in America as Roboborg from the TV series Big Bad Beetleborgs Metallix.)
- This card is similar to Kamen Rider Kabuto; they're both dubbed the strongest of their groups, and they have a similar theme.
- This card's second effect is similar to "Scrap Dragon", except that the cards must be face-up and they are sent to the Graveyard without being destroyed.
