This card's name is a reference to Ornithoptera alexandrae (also known as Queen Alexandra's Birdwing), the largest butterfly in the world.

This card's effect is similar to that of "Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy of the End", except it only affects Monster Cards and returns them to the hand instead of sending them to the Graveyard, then damages both places as opposed to only the opponent.
